You heard right folks, we now have A Problem Shared youtube channel. Now, when the project started, we had made the decision to use Vimeo to upload and store our videos. Our website has these videos imbedded. However, we have been asked a number of times since the show began to air to make sure that we also put the show on youtube. So we decided to put it up there as well.
While it might cut our visible views in half, since our website is still directing all traffic to vimeo, we still want to reach as many people as possible. I guess many shows have faced this dilemma. In all honesty, vimeo videos still look better and the page is cleaner. However vimeo still needs to catch up to youtube in terms of its discovery function. We have spent some time trying to connect with other vimeo users, and have had some success, but not as much as we would have liked.
Do you know anyone who has a similar experience?
